Yep, like BenKS says - low crouch in the bogus english translation is actually 'Always Walk' - you can map it exactly the same as in the previous games - I suffered for ages thinking from what I'd been reading in forums that it couldn't be remapped away from shift (I usually have shift as 'jump', ctrl as 'always crouch' and alt as 'low crouch' ) - then had a nother look and found it all works. I presume you can install the Russian version of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat via Steam, and copy the contents of the aforementioned folder of this mod to the /text/ folder of the game.
Since I do not own the game I cannot test them myself, but in the folder gamedata/configs/text/eng/, I found English dialogue files (such as st_dialog_jupiter.xml). This well-received English translation of the mod 'Winter of Death: Ultimatum', has English subtitles.
